Because flirting with a gay guy is obviously just joking around, as the straight gays aren't gay, making it just fun/"banter" (hate that word, but it best describes it). I think it's mostly just personality (and the fear of India's wrath if they flirted wrong ) (I also think Andrew in particular probably wouldn't mind taking things further with Courtney if I'm completely honest... there's a spark of curiosity there at least.) Also I reckon they'd think a flirtation with Courtney would probably play well to the viewers so there's that too.

India is like a miserable thunder cloud, whereas Shane J / Courtney is a ray of sunshine who fits into every circle ,yes he's crude at times but he's friendly and understanding and nice .

I honestly can't stand India and she's put me off watching BB now .
