Very True it was still really rude though and I'd imagine off putting when you're trying to speak. I normally like Ann but I think it was unnecessarily rude, he wasn't saying anything offensive

..yeah it obviously indicates that you find something boring in an openly demonstarative way...and also what I found quite interesting last night and maybe a bit ‘telling’...was when Jess used the F word in the haunted/scary task, she apologised immediately but Ann said shhh as well...that was her immediate response to something she disapproved of, just shhh and nothing else and then all done and dusted ...but with Shane J and Andrew’s rough and tumble play fight, she didn’t just say oh stop it you two, you’re being immature or a bit loud or a bit boisterous or whatever...and that play fight wasn’t all done and dusted for her because she not only nominated it as a reason but she described it as ‘obscene’ as well...I think she seems very much to me as someone who would have her ‘admonishment’ be befitting of what she felt was the ‘offence’...so maybe another indication of homophobic traits in her character....?...

If someone did it in front of me, Gay or straight, I would find it obscene

And I would get a bucket of water.

She feels uncomfortable around that behaviour...it was her reason for nominating him..that's because she wanted a reason. If she didn't like Jess she would use the swearing as a reason...but she loves Jess and Jess apologised.

Very rude, and actually really childish as well, for someone who's often lauded on here for her maturity and respect... if it had been Shane rolling his eyes whilst Ann was telling a story about her life he'd be accused of disrespect/ageism/trying to silence Ann, etc etc. But no it was Ann who did it and Shane dealt with it by meeting her rudeness with politeness respect and maturity, and yet he's the one in the wrong in some peoples eyes, not her? I really don't get it at all

How was he provoking her by noticing she rolled her eyes at him though? She did it repeatedly because she wanted him to notice... it was her provoking him?

Well said Ammi. And what's interesting as well is that she actually only started rolling her eyes when Shane mentioned his sexuality, it's not a huge coincidence. And it was almost as soon as he started speaking rather than because he'd been talking for a while like she made it out to be when he called her out on it. So yeah, her reason for doing it is pretty obvious to me. And like you say it was demonstrative, it wasn't just the one eye roll, she was trying to get him to notice and she was trying to silence him.
