Many people who are not British citizens went in. If you have EU passport than it makes you eligible to participate. And even if not, you still have the legal right to stay in the UK for 50 days. So I don't think it's really an issue...

What if the series lasts longer than 50 days? Anyways, I can't apply, don't have an EU passport and I'm broke. It wouldn't help if the series lasts longer than 50 days.

I wonder what would happen if midway through the series, like the past two, the finale date would be announced.

C5 are not going to do long series any more, 50 is their new standard. They prefer investing the days in their contract in CBB. So technically, I believe it's doable.

BB18 lasted for 54 days, so if next year's series last the same, and I magically made it to the final week...how would that work, just asking.

I think passports on different countries have varied "power" i think, in terms of where they work and how long you can stay in another country without applying for a work visa or a citizenship with it.

I'm somewhat tempted, but like I said in another thread, they'd probably say no even if they wanted me because I'd insist on offcamera bathroom time each morning and evening as I'm still self conscious about my heart surgery scars.
