They wrote there own music. Plus they were unique and has inspired the girl bands of this decade. There will never be another girl group like them.

I'm not going to argue the inspiration but just because you write your own music don't necessarily make it original.

Sorry, but Mad World does not stroke my chain. If I was about to hang myself maybe it would work, but not as a Christmas song. | |||

Out of those my favourite song would probably be Sound of the Underground. I'm never a big fan of the X Factor winner's single,I prefer the stuff they do after.

Girls Aloud are a superb pop group. Even people who are not into pop will tell you that. They are one of the best things this decade. Perfect image, perfect songs, perfect mixture of personalities, good consistency, they have it all.

The production team they have behind them is absolutely top notch. Even the most manliest of males are forced to give in. Look at Biology, for example. Which bit is meant to be the chorus? It's just catchy hook after catchy hook fucking battered at you. Like throwing pies at a fat person.

erm no. In fact the only thing like them at the minute or since they started really has been the Saturdays except they lack the consistency. Girls Aloud are girl pop band perfection. As Stu has already said everything they release is pop gold, they're look has evolved at progressed with time so they always look immaculate. Their videos are some of the best in the British mainstream this decade.
