Never fancied France myself - don't know why - as I do like the accent - just never appealed to me somehow! Won a holiday there once, and couldn't be bothered to go. I have an English friend who lives there though - who seems to like it and married a French woman!

It's a love or hate country. I'm French myself and I can see why some people are hating on the French: they're arrogant, rude and think they're above anything else. They're also the worst tourists in the world. But then there is something that makes you like it and I believe this is why we have many immigrants coming in (but not staying).

I like this country but I cannot see myself living there. UK is more appealing to me, it's a lifestyle that fits me.

France is a truly beautiful country, filled with fanatastic secenery, the architecture in some cities is a joy to behold, the food is wonderful, the wines divine. france really does have everything.

The only thing spoiling it is the Locals.

I loved France when I went, but I saw so many unemployed people harrasing people to buy keyrings,bracelets etc.. Someone at my school even got her money took from her.

Yes it does. It's one of the most controversial law yet (and God knows France loves controversy). We had terrorist attacks threats from Al Quaida for this. It's a huge debate out there, very complicated to solve. A lot of people are worried France will become an Islam state in a few years.

They don't know, they just received a tape. Then a few French journalists have been kidnapped in the Middle East since Christmas as a revenge for this law. It's not going to stop anytime soon. What about most of the Muslims who live in France? And they like the Bosnian ones and that?
