Been a few dates with people I have met on dating sites, including Match, Dating Direct and Plentyoffish. The reason I used them is because I moved to Wales from England. Besides Im really terrible at coming out with corny chat up lines in clubs.

Men go to clubs to chat up women for all sorts of reasons, I never said anything about going to clubs to meet women specifically to "find love". My point was I find it difficult going up to complete strangers and striking up conversations. I feel easier and more myself speaking to people online. Besides it's easier dealing with rejection.

When you move 300 miles to a new area and don't know anybody these sites are a good way of making friends, getting dates, finding love and so on.

That's understandable, it's not easy to chat up perfect strangers at all
