For ages it was the original Get Carter.

Not sure now.

The most magical moment ever in a film for me has to be when the ageing Last Emperor of the film with the same name, opens a box he hid under his throne, containing a live cricket he put there as a boy. Always chokes me up.

Bit of trivia. The eagle-eyed will have noticed one of the old codgers drinking at the bar at the start of Get Carter has 5 fingers, and a thumb.

Best soundtrack too.

Dirty Dancing probably, I've seen it more than any other film. More reasonable choices then would be The Shawshank redemption, Se7en and The Usual Suspects

Right, still can't narrow it down to 1.. but here's the first few things that pop into my head;

Titanic
Wizard of Oz
Mary Poppins
Braveheart
In Bruges
The English Patient
Cold Mountain
In the Name of the Father
Dirty Dancing
The Sound of Music
My Left Foot
Last of the Mohicans
Brokeback Mountain

I could actually just keep typing, but I'm boring myself somewhat

EDIT: Sh1t.. I completely forgot to add The Godfather!

Urgh I don't think I can choose, but it would probably be between Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile and either Dirty Dancing or Pretty Woman...those are the films I can watch over and over and over and never get sick of them.

For me it's Kill Bill (both parts) and Lion King, I just never get tired of them. If I had to say all my favourite films though the list would be as long as my arm.
