I'd say refering to all the other housemates as "all sorts" was more offensive than refering to Victor as black...

Thats the point. It is not that she said "black". It is that blacks was put in the same context as all sorts.

Like walking into a pub seing a black person and saying "they let all sorts into this pub". I can see why bb had a talk with her.

Depends on HOW it was said I guess. On paper, I don't think it was racist, but if she said it in a malicious way (which I doubt by the way) then yeah, I can see why it could be deemed offensive.
