Unless I missed his CBeebies slot I'm pretty sure he was always trying to be controversial. The difference is there was a place for that in Mock The Week where we got small doses of him at a time with form and structure. When unleashed into his own TV show however it's crash and burn.

The controversy and sick jokes would be fine if they had a point and led to an overall conclusion or message but they don't.

L'Oreal and Nestle are pulling out after the comic's obscene jokes sparked an angry backlash from viewers, politicians and charities.

Beauty company L'Oreal are taking down their adverts from the 4 on Demand website where Boyle's show is available, the Daily Mirror revealed.

Nestle, which promotes its Nespresso coffee machine on the site, also said they will not renew their advertising contract.

Good ..... C4 will be hit where it hurts most - in the coffers .....

That's fair enough but would be different for Katie Price I would imagine as he was talking about her child. I know if it was my child, I wouldn't just not watch either, I'd want something done about it.

Yes Millions Watched the Replay of the last 2 Shows
only because he was on the news.

I wouldnt mind him being sick, twisted, vulgar, offensive, racist, sexist or pretty much anything else....if he were actually funny. Joan Rivers has pretty much been all of these things over the years. Difference is, she's actually funny.

The Royal London Society for Blind People last night called on the EHRC, which can intervene when a public body may have breached the Disability Discrimination Act, to act over jibes about Katie Price’s disabled son Harvey.

In a letter seen by the Mirror, its chief executive Dr Tom Pey tells the EHRC: “It is of course legitimate to parody someone in the public eye... but it is quite another thing to mock a blind, autistic child, who is not in a position to fight back.”

Last night Dr Pey added: “I’m surprised at Channel 4 for allowing this to be aired. I’m even more surprised that they would turn around and try and defend it in the interests of free speech.”

I know some find him offensive, I simply don't find FB funny so ignore anything to do with him.

I think he's trying to rival people like Jim Davidson etc to be the most offensive comic for brownie points.
