I think that Pauline gave Helen the pass because she sensed that Helen was a threat and a vile cow and wanted to keep her on side and in her good books by being indebted to her.

At the moment she's making good viewing because she's an idiotic, intellectually challenged gob****e but i really think this could wear beyond thin within a as little as a week even.
She could easily reach a point where her vileness far outweighs any possible entertainment value that she's bringing to the show. She's already going egomaniacaly bonkers because of her perceived immunity from eviction and if you add her reaction if someone who can't stand her becomes the power housemate (oh please let this happen!!!) i think she could easily get physical or say something so majorly punishable that i could genuinely see a situation where she get's removed. She's already showed that she has very little control over her temper, her hatred for people and her acid tongue and that was just her first outburst.
