Having read Calums Mums Sunday Paper articles over the years, the poem was perhaps her best way to go.

We dont know Calum's homelife, it may be just him & his mum with no close rellies.
Calum knows his mother better than any one and would have known exactly what she was saying to him with that poem.

The poem said it all, it was beautiful, well done Calums mum. A bit of culture for us to listen to and to appreciate. It certainly brought the tears to Michelle and KHs eyes.

Yes he did, he went to his gang and said how perez had indicated that the letter contained a hidden message and that he didnt miss an opportunity to poke at KH. The fact is the letter said that Calum should read it very carefully and very slowly. If that doesn't indicate it has a meaning to him in the house, i don't know what does

Now there is a possibility! A beautiful poem but hardly warranted as a personal letter from home - a poem that is more in keeping with this years 70th anniversary of the ending of WW11. Maybe Perez does have a point and I would certainly not underestimate his intelligence.

Yes and perhaps it's worth considering as well Calum does not like to be open about his personal life, in his own words he is a closed book perhaps she was just being mindful of that. I liked the sentiment.

I also liked the way KH got a bit emotional, it was nice to see her human side.
