I've had one before though where I'd woke up (in my dream) as if it was a usual morning. Got changed, walked across the landing into the toilet, had a pee, washed my hands and teeth turned around and looked in the mirror and there was a really creepy looking guy maniacally laughing back at me.

I shot up out of bed instantly, was terrifying.

i used to have a recurring dream when i was younger, of my parents falling down a whirlpool thing and i couldn't pull them up

i have a lot of dreams about pulling my teeth out lately though, i wake up sweating

I was getting followed by three old ladies. They weren't chasing me, they just kept walking really slowly towards me and no matter how much I ran, they were always behind me. It was tense.

when i was 4 i deampt that i was hiding from a big cartoon wolf in a forest and I thought well i have to do something or he will find me so in a big scary voice i jumped out and shouted to scare him

he just turned round slowly and smiled

I woke up terrified and have never forgotten the dream and i can still recall it now, in colour

after seeing the homeless man under a bridge on a freezing night - he was in my dream - but fear not - it turned out to be a nightmare - and that's why I wanted to help him.

Sometimes I have one where I'm being chased by someone with a knife. I feel so scared, but I'm able to wake up immediately. Is that weird?

I have always had an illogical fear of being gored by a bull I have dreams where I am in a field and I'm running for my life and I reach the fence and I start to climb over, then I wake up, I never know If I truly get away

Yeah I think that's called a "false awakening" (dream within a dream). Normally occurs with lucid dreams and sometimes associated with sleepwalking.

It's scary when it happens... apparently you can "awaken" more than a hundred times before you're actually awake.

One of my worst dreams was about the world having been over run with giant human size Moths and I was with a group of people and we were the last humans alive and we were being chased by the Moths and we ran into a barn and the moths were outside and they completely covered the barn. I woke up before they got in though thankfully

I know but it's irrational I guess like with Spiders, the vast majority are harmless they just creep me out

I had a horrible nightmare about my daughter being kidnapped and found under a slide in a playground, it was a day before we went to butlins, I had to be talked into not cancelling the holiday because of it.

I had another horrible dream last night that I was working with one of the Secret Services, and I was told to keep watch of two girls so to know when the others in my team could go in and get important information on a case, the team ended up disobeying orders though and snapped the girls necks.

I had two horrible dreams today.

1. I had a dream that a Wasp laid baby Eggs on my arm whilst the Mother was also stinging me.

2. I was doing University Studies and then the University got hijacked with a video of Melissa Joan Hart getting her bones bent repeatedly by a Wrestler that looked like the Undertaker. He might've also gone sexual but I'm not 100% sure on that.

Number 2 really scared me.

ew i had a VILE dream last night that i was on holiday in tunisia and in the taxi to the airport some civil war broke out or somn and we were on the motorway and like people were knifing eachother and **** and the taxi literally couldn't get past bc there was so many bodies in the road and people were trying to break into the taxi to kill us

a medication i was once on had nightmares as a side effect and boy was that not a lie! in one night i dreamt that my house was invaded and my parents repeatedly stabbed in front of me, that i was caught up in a terrorist attack (in st helens town centre of all places), and that i was on a bridge feeling suicidal and about to jump off, and in between each one i woke up in a bizarre half-awake-half-asleep state where i knew something wasn't quite right but i couldn't fully get up and move out of bed.

the medication also made me fat as **** so i stopped taking it.
