I call my mum, mum.
I call my dad, dad to his face and "the old man" when talking about him to someone. And call him "him" when talking about him to my mum.

I was three when my father died so I don't remember what I called him, probably Daddy though.
![]() I say "my mother" when speaking about her to someone. "My mother likes tea" We say "mammy" when speaking to each other as siblings. "Does Mammy like tea?" I call her "mam" when speaking directly to her. "Mam, are you making tea?"

Nothing they are both dead. But when they were here I called them mum and dad.
