Tyrion and Varys' interactions still make episodes for me, think those two along with Jaime are the most 'interesting' characters who can't be pigeon holed very easily

I also always enjoyed Varys' scenes. So his and Tyrion's recent double act is just inspired.

Jon Snow and Daenerys being top? ... I dunno.

Jon is a weird one. He's a character that I feel like I always root for, and he's had his moments e.g. expeditions North, kicking a White Walker's arse, etc. BUT he spends like 90% of the time just sitting around being a sulky-faced... err... bastard. He needs to cheer up a bit. Theon Greyjoy whines less and he got his knob chopped off!

Daenerys is getting annoying; she's become arrogant with very little reason to be so. A combination of "You're not a ruler, you're a conquerer" (not a compliment surely?) and what Tyrion had to say about her naivety in thinking that she could turn around the slaving situation by snapping her fingers rather than playing a longer game to phase it out... Essentially, she does a lot of "big things" and then has absolutely no idea how to deal with the aftermath other than to leave it behind and move on to her next "big thing", and let the place she just conquered revert to how it was before.

She finds it easy to gather loyal armies and to inspire them to victory; she's more of a General than a Queen. That said, the Dany/Varys/Tyrion trio should be pretty solid with her as conquerer and them to handle the politics... as no one else so far has done that side of things better than Tyrion.

Arya, Jon and Sansa are faves out of the main cast. I literally love most of them in this show though, there's so many cute side characters.
