...another recurring factor seems to be because of how brutal the crime, there is a 'need to get this solved quickly' and they had them and they had them in for questioning because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time while all of the mob stuff was going on that night...it's such a sad story and not just their wrongful imprisonment for those years but also because of the nature of the crime they had been convicted of...that they were on the sex offenders list so couldn't even start a new life when they were released and one of them felt his only option was drug dealing... ...this really struck me right at the beginning...'the most endangered species in America was the young black man'..because it really wasn't that long ago and race seemed to play such a part..the case with the young black women who was raped and thrown off a building but that barely being reported in comparison to this because it was a white woman...ao yeah, the pressure on the police dept to make sure that someone/people were brought to justice very quickly and they had 5 young black men in their custody already.../frightening...they were barely children, how totally terrified they were...to the extent that they confessed, just to make it all end... ...and they were determined it would be a guilty verdict in having the lady appear in court even though she had no memory of that night...what a brave lady though in her recovery.. ..such a brutal crime.....the other thing where you have to wonder race..?...is Steven Avery for instance and his first wrongful imprisonment and the media attention that seemed to have got...but with this, it was said how it was barely mentioned/their innocence proved and their release in comparison to how their 'guilt' and sentencing were reported... ..and yeah, Donald Trump...'maybe hate is what we need if we’re gonna get something done'...and this is someone who could become one of the most powerful world leaders.../just too scary...

Quand il pleut, il pleut
|
..I watched the first two episodes of James' recommendation yesterday...it's really intriguing and I like that it's a mini series as well, the same as Making of a Murderer because it's sometimes hard to fit two or so hours of watching in...it's also completely different in many ways/him being very wealthy..(Lord, legal costs in the USA..)...but also, the filming is being done with private conversations in his home as well through it all...
...I haven't read anything about the story so I don't know about outcomes yet and trying to resist looking anything up just yet but so far, so good James...thank you for that... .....I am finding it a bit hard to find links for the episodes though...

Where did you find the episodes? I noticed the first one was on Youtube.

Quand il pleut, il pleut

..I found the first episode on Vimeo and then the second one came up there as well, so I could just follow it on...but the third one isn't listed so I'll need to find a link again...it'll be so frustrating if I can't because I'm so intrigued now...
...(her injuries were horrific for a fall down stairs..)...

Quand il pleut, il pleut

..I watched the third episode last night...(it is a little difficult in finding links..)...but it's so different to anything else in that the camera crew were there through private times as well and basically following him around..it really is intriguing, I have no idea the outcome because I'm resisting looking atm until I've finished the whole series...
