The northern countries in Europe have higher alcohol use that the south. It's thought to be because of the cold.

This new law in Scotland is probably going to result in booze cruises to places in the north of England.

I say put it up further but as a tax that goes straight into the NHS .

Also a "minimum" price of £14 for a 70cl bottle of whiskey?? If you're willing to drink £14 whiskey you might as well just spend £1.15 on a full litre. Of petrol. And just drink that.

There is in Irish whiskey

I can get a Litre of Grants for £16 and that is great value and a top blend. Let them put up superlager but leave Whisky alone.
