Yeah, I don't even like Cheryl but that's nasty and completely sexist. It's a shame that it seems like no matter how far we come that never seems to change. It's very unfair considering the vast majority of the time it's the mothers who are the ones who step up to the plate with the kids after a break up aswell and are the responsible ones but still get all the abuse too

She was still far better known. His solo career only took off because of the increased attention they got as a couple.

I feel I could safely say most people over the age of 25-30 would have needed a reminder who he even was before he got with her. He had never had so much fame previously - not even as a member of a manufactured boy-band who had Simon’s money behind them.

She had a similar start that had more to do with appearance than talent but she is far better known nevertheless.

She was a hell of a lot more famous than her second husband and, as for Ashley Cole, they boosted each other's profiles much like Victoria and David did all of those years ago.

Next you'll be telling me the multi-millionaire was after Liam for his money.

In fact, in fairness to Cheryl, she's never really paraded her relationships for the media after what happened when it was revealed Ashley had been cheating on her. Her marriage to that French bloke, albeit short, was conducted mostly privately too.
