He should be able to wear his hair how he likes as long as it's safe around machinery etc, no matter how daft he looks.

Well, true, I wouldn't agree with their initial policy if it stated that women ARE allowed buns but men are not. Just if it said "no buns, ponytails only" full stop.

When I first started where I am now, men had to wear shirt + tie whilst women just had a blouse / shirt... which sort of pissed me off. Not the tie so much as the fact that we also had to have the shirt buttoned right to the top (which I can't stand, even in formal dress I leave my top button loose ) whereas women were allowed to have the top button or even top two buttons undone . Injustice everywhere.

Making the accusation that my distaste for the modern man buns look is racist. Every type of race of man is currently wearing it as a fashion... not due to their race or religion.

Air crew have to keep up a standard of clean and neat. If the pictures in the article are anything to go by then he fails. It looks gross.
