As far as I’m aware, they were told the shooter was dead and that’s when they got up. He asked for his shoes and his hat and I don’t think that is super unreasonable. He was probably in shock and was thinking very basic thoughts

In my accident my first thought was ‘can I move my legs?!?’ And then I realised I could so then I panicked about where the **** I was supposed to go. I drove like 800ft away and pulled into a business parking lot. Then I walked up to see the other drivers and they were like ‘why did you leave’

I was panicking okay!???

I've only been in one crash, as a teenager. A friend was driving, and we were both 100% convinced the car "was going to explode" (it was a write-off but only because the suspension completely collapsed - there was no risk at all of a fire or explosion) .

My question still stands...why? Why would a hat be so important that it became 2 peoples priority for a few brief seconds..They didnt put it back on his head st any point.
