You said she's immersed in her genre. The fact that she cannot possibly be immersed is proved by the fact that she's almost certainly isnt not part of a crew. That is, if you dont know it, the best way to get noticed in hip hop.

You're the one who claimed she was credible I'm just showing that she is anything but credible.

Ive never said anything about her credibility as a hardcore hip hop artist. She could certainly be an artist along the lines of Lady Sov, Eliza Doolittle or even Lily Allen. Not a stretch to imagine her making that kind of a record. Or doing a hook up with Tinie on a track. She's contemporary pop.

I don't think she has a love for the genre cuz, again, she'd have her own rhymes.

I've now firmly come to the conclusion that she's winging it. Trying her hand at hip hop and seeing how far she can get without any discernible talent. I don't think that should be applauded.

That much I can agree on; she definitely fits into that sound and it's quite clear she loves the music she performs; but it's outrageous for her to claim she wrote those lyrics or for the judges to pass her off as original, she's doing cover versions like everyone else, except they're glossing over that fact with her. I also think that by the time Cher (if she won) came out with her debut album, music will have moved on to a new sound.

I mean, I literally have no interest in the genre - sorry! - but yeah, it strikes me that the first thing you'd do would be to develop your own style in rapping, right? And she's just a bloody copycat. I'm sure it's frowned on in the same way that stealing jokes from other comedians is, right?
