I personally hate any discrimination to any religion .

But there's some horrific things happening in other countries at the hands of so called people with certain Faith's . But people don't comment on those things .

Instead they pick on a 70 year old Tory who still accepts people and are friends with them but just has different views that are no where near as harmful or as bad as they're making them out to be .

Ann is a practicing Catholic ,she prays everyday near enough ,so what on Earth are you talking about?? .

Her views are more strict than Shane L's faith as he's more modern and he's a born again Christian . Not everyone thinks the exact same . It's not a cult .

No he combats Ann s bigotry on it, who s blockled so much fun i don t know why people can t see that. He doesn t raise it first usually it s soc sf Ann s face pulls and eye rolls, her unkind gestsures when she says she values people being kind that is so hypocritical that s what forces Shane J to try to explain gay and trans people.

i think Shane J s main message is love is love it doesn t matter if its between two people of the same gender and that as is summed up in Lady Gaga s song we were " Born this way", so nothing wrong with it and it s not our fault not a choice, we were born this way. i think that s the clear message that i m surprised people aren t able to see if they can t ?

I don't think anyone here is against gay rights or equality, so there's no arguing about Shane J's message.
From this point onwards, it's the added value that the housemate brings with him/her.
If it was solely the message of equality, then I don't see how the rest of the house (minus Ann in some things) are less worthy than Shane J.
For me Shane J has nothing to offer other than the message that he brings with him - while other housemates who share the same views, have given more depth to their own character.
Shane J just doesn't have exclusivity on the LGBT and equality message, nor he should win for it like he's the only one in the house who holds it.

Even my gay mates reckon he is using the whole LGBT issue simply to boost himself
