They have based it on a true life story of a couple who were attacked in similar circumstances a few years ago. Its hard hitting but stuff like it happens. I think they are doing a good thing highlighting what kids who are different face every day.

Although I hope they do not focus solely on it as we still need some.lighter stories too

I'm just watching now and it was really horrible to watch the attack but it's true to life sadly. I love Nina, they've let her slowly fit in and find her place and she's by far my favourite character and last nights episode was great.

I really hope the culprits get caught out and someone speaks up, Corey is disgusting and that skank Kelly needs to die like her dad.

I remember the case, didnt realise it was so long ago, and her Mum and the guy who plays Seb were interviewed this morning

its based on the Sophie Lancaster death in the park in 2007 and her Mum was involved in the story line
