So Moyse is apparently blaming the poor form and bad start to the season on the distraction of playing the europa league matches !!

Didn’t they play Europa league games last year ?

Yeah it's not a great excuse tbf when our squad is a lot deeper this year. I'd think the European games could actually help play us into form and give the new guys a chance to settle in

The other teams in the league have obviously had a week of rest though whereas we've played 3 games in the last 10 days including a journey to Denmark

Default 2022/2023 Premier League Discussion Thread

Have we got an England Team thread ??

If not can someone please start one ?

Here is my England team ..

I’m going with the Arsenal link with Ramsdale quick passes up to Saka , the Liverpool link with TAA and Henderson on the right … plus Mings / Foden / Grealish links down the left

Ok I’m thinking crazy having everyone playing in their normal position .. oh well

Ramsdale

TAA. WHITE. MINGS. CHILWELL

HENDERSON. BELLINGHAM. FODEN

SAKA. KANE GREALISH

I predict that Spurs will kick lumps out of Arsenal and then United will kick lumps out of City

The refs are too lenient now and I fear for the safety of the flair players like Haaland , Grealish , Silva , Martinelli and Jesus
This type of player simply don’t get any protection at all nowadays- it’s gone too far the other way now

Just time how long it takes for McTom and Martinez to whack someone

Same applies to Højbjerg and Richarlison

The ref had an absolute shocker

He allowed Romero and Dier to repeatedly kick Arsenal players up in the air unpunished but then booked Martinelli and Salina for nothing tackles ..

Romero left his foot in nearly every tackle much like flaming Pepe of Real Madrid used to do

Oh well, Chelsea squeezing the win, Spurs losing, and Liverpool dropping points. Decent enough.
