True. But being fat is more life threatening. You should have freedom of speech but yeah in terms of what other things you can joke about.. like Arista said that could cause a war and ****.

But also... if we can joke about fat people we should be able to joke about skinny people too? I think though it's more life threatening being fat. If you are skinny.. well it's usually easier to put on the weight than lose it!

The thread isn't about not allowing people to be fat. They are just saying there is no benefit in making it seem as acceptable and 'normal' when it shouldn't be and how we shouldn't be sensitive towards them when it could help them.

No where in this thread does it condone being underweight, 'skinny' and unhealthy. This thread is about overweight people, it doesn't say we should starve fat people until they are underweight did it. Plus I said 'healthy normal BMI' which means you are not underweight nor overweight thus you are in the realms of being healthy.

No one here is 'targeting' them. We are discussing our beliefs towards it. And it is different to racism as one can easily change it. No one can change their race but people can change their size, ergo not in the realms or same category as racism.
