I kind of agree with you, but I think some people are just crying out for help and a bit of compassion, as in some obese people, and they should be given that rather than subjected to ridicule, as what does it say about some of us who do the ridiculing otherwise

We do accept each other, we just don't think its the best option. No one in western society really truly wants to be fat so why make it out to be ok.

Also, you dont always get overweight from eating too much(or having a medical problem).

Sometimes its just easting the wrong stuff. If you have a lot of processed crap in your diet, then you are more likely to be overweight.

I know this because of when I was on the dole. I put on about 2 stone in a few months because I couldnt afford to buy the fresh stuff I used to buy...instead making do with stuff like bags of chicken nuggets etc. I actually ate quite a bit less food, but because of the **** quality of it, I put weight on.

I also think this. maybe not in the later stages (IE. when they are going to die if they dont eat, I do believe that after a few months or so the anorexia takes over) but certainly in the early stages.
