..I have to admit that I'd never watched Geordie Shore and had a very preconceived opinion of Charlotte before she went into the house just by things I'd read..I was certain I wouldn't like her and am very surprised that I actually do...calling her a '*****' or similar is totally unnecessary..the language/terminology she uses makes me often cringe but if you see beyond that she seems like a nice girl and that to me is more relevant...and I don't think it's any different to when people liked Ron because they could see beyond his racist comments to the positives he was as well....

People are just shallow, they let surface things like the way she speaks or her sense of humour become more important than who she actually is as a person - e.g. last night's HL show when she was the ONLY housemate who followed Lauren because she wanted to make sure she didn't feel alone or ganged up on, while the rest cackled in the garden...

This is absolutely correct - it was Charlotte who noticed and flagged up Courtney's predicament. This definitely shows some level of maturity and the ability to show more than self-awareness. There have been a few little flashes of similar depth from Charlotte. I sense she might have staged the 'drunk' scene in order to fall out of bed in a comical way afterwards. I think she might have heard Carol say she had not had much to drink and that she was acting so she wet the bed to make it look like she had been drunk...

..just slightly off topic..I've noticed that you're transgender and I know that's obviously been discussed in CBB atm with Lauren...I can see that it's been extremely difficult for you in many ways I would imagine..and you're right, there is so much that people in general don't understand..you could make a thread about it to discuss it in the main forum in serious debates section and maybe help people to understand more..?...obviously if it's something you feel you want to do though....

I like Geordie Shore for the same bizarre reason that I like Big Brother. They are exactly the same thing! Honestly, BB fans getting on their high horse about any show... It's beyond hypocrisy. The "sex" on GS is no different to, for example, the under the cover shuffle between Ashleigh and Luke S. People seem to have some idea that they explicitly show sex. They don't, they show a couple of seconds of duvets moving and then cut to the next morning.

I was also specifically referencing the notion that she "sleeps around". Whether or not she's had sex in the GS house is irrelevant - its still not sleeping around.

I watched the first 2 episodes of GS yesterday out of curiosity
