everyone passes judgement here on everything, what on earth are you talking about?if these fans are insulted that's up to them. this woman clearly appeals to the dumbed down masses who admire this revolting behaviour and probably replicate it. theres no doubt theres a correlation between this revolting behaviour and workless lazy people with no ambition to work and behave in a decent moral fashion

It is a rule on the forum not to insult fans of housemates, I would say that referring to a housemates fans as "the dumbed down masses" and "workless lazy people" is insulting

If you want to post on this forum then you should respect the rules also

Calling people slags and bigots and racists and so on is fine then and suggesting some people are workless chavs is not? how do you draw the moral line between one and the other? or is it selective depending on someone personal agendas?

In the former case those words are being used about housemates, they are not nice things to say admittedly but housemates are fair game to be insulted, fans of them are not however

No people don't insult fans all the time, and if they do then they get infracted unless it slips through the net without us noticing

It is a basic rule on here not to do it, there's nothing more to add, go read them for yourself

Yeah but if you are a fan of something/someone, you will be offended by someone calling your favourite houseamate something derogatory, the rule should really only be used for direct name calling/general abusive comments towards users of the site.

Not for A is stupid for liking B

To be honest I'd look to moderating housemate insults as well next season. Free speech is a wonderful concept in theory but when you extend it to the sort of nameless, faceless lunatics who take over this place during on season it can be a real turn off to everybody else.

If someone can construct a well worded, witty spiel against a housemate they don't like then all the more power to them but the forum is full of just some absolutely horrendous threads by a parade of generic thirty five post douche bags who've made it their sole mission to type a barrage of uncreative, visually ugly threads and posts usually centered around one or two people who they don't like time and time again. JIM IS A SLAG LOOK AT HIM EVERYONE LOOK AT HOW HE POOED IN THE SINK ON DAY 15 DO YOU AGREE WITH HIM? THEN YOU'RE WHATS WRONG WITH BRITAIN HAHAHA.

Something like that. Only stripped of grammar. Something I couldn't bring myself to enact even in mock quotation.

It's got nothing to do with their right to free speech and everything to do with the fact that they are just crap posters who should be swept under the rug for that reason alone. Rhyming 'shore' with '*****' puts you neatly in that bin. Most forums do it. Here you actually have to explicitly break rules to get banned but you can drool on your kneecaps all you want in between.

Put me right off the place it has. Bit of quality control wouldn't go amiss. Bit of a left of field rant I know. Bring it up in the towers or something. Sieg Heil and peace out.

The girls young enough to be impressionable shouldn't be watching.

If they do watch, that's not people like Charlotte's fault, or even BB's fault but their parent's fault.

I would agree with this tbh. I'm hoping the rules get revised for next season as this time round has been awful. I dont see the value in housemate nicknames and such, or one liner insults in every thread. Or the pathetic spam threads we get so often that say not much at all. This year we even had a poster who was hellbent on creating threads everytime a certain housemate moved, but the title would just be an insult, and there was nothing but a . in the OP. Then when they ended up banned for spam, obviously it was put down to bias

..I agree with Stu, the constant attacking of housemates on a very personal level, rather than commenting on behaviour in the house and ridiculous and offensive thread titles has started to spoil people having discussions/debates about housemates as it's just who can insult them more..I know it's meant to be more of a 'free for all' where housemates are concerned but it's got really stupid and inevitably ends with members insulting other members for their opinions..and then they're punished when really these 'hate' threads are encouraging it all...

You can only be entertained by exemplary behaviour? Why does anyone have to idolise entertainment?

Does that mean horror movie fans are bloodthirsty murderers?
