Maybe his opinion is wrong because he called being gay a "choice" despite the fact that it's scientifically proven that being gay is the result of the amount of hormones that you are exposed to while in the womb and there is no choice factor about it. So technically, yes his opinion is factually wrong. As well as morally, but I guess you can have your little opinion on that.

He's perfectly entitled to his opinion (even though it's disgusting and indisputably wrong), but to air it on a national TV show in the UK which is certainly more tolerant than the US when it comes to gay rights is just moronic. Luisa told him to shut up and for his sake he should have listened. If you're going to talk like that on a television show then yes of course you're going to be spoken to. And if I remember the conversation correctly they didn't actually issue him a formal warning, just merely reminded him that what he was saying is potentially offensive to viewers. Correct me if I'm wrong on that though.

Also, I think everyone's forgetting that Luisa herself is bisexual so it's also worth wondering whether or not he knew this. Then it's a whole other matter in itself that Channel 5 have probably chose to edit out to save themselves.

No what is flawed is that people need to realise the context of his comments. If he had actively got up and started saying that to people then yes that would be a reason to get annoyed etc, but he didn't he had a one on one conversation with Luisa who prompted the discussion.
