Is anyone watching the show this year? Chad has brought so much to this series.

He's sussed Paul, he slayed Brandi, brought us some brilliant one liners and generally not pissed anyone off.

If you've stopped watching the show you've no business commenting.

I hated him at the beginning, want him to win now.

Chad is likeable enough but certainly not a great HM, he's rather mediocre really and only relevant because of his showmances - first Amelia, now Sarah. He hasn't done or said anything or had any story line that makes him an individual, everything about him has related to whatever woman he is trying to get off with/has got off with/kissing.
That is his stock in trade - be a shirtless chilled guy who romances the ladies. Pleasant enough but not my cup of chow.
I don't dislike him, but I'd prefer HM's to do better than him who have given us lots of different aspects of their personalities, even if I don't like them - not the one - dimensional character he brings to the table.

But seriously as I'll reiterate, there's always this "Is X the best housemate??" or "Is X the WORST housemate??" and it's always so repetitive and most of the time seems like an over-stipulation

He totally disregarded Sarah's boyfriend by saying over and over 'it was only a month' as if the BF was a non - entity and didn't matter. Brandi was talking crap but what Chad said wasn't cool and very insensitive. He's complicit in Sarah cheating on her BF and then totally f's him off as if he doesn't matter in the least....not good at all.

Absolutely, there is the confusion of whether Sarah has a 'sort' of boyfriend outside.
She cannot just be blamed as to interest, he is also often like a dog on heat, desperate for some interaction.

He to blame as much, for me too,like with you,I hate showmances all of them and always have.

In that Chad in his desperation to have some romantic storyline is what made me not really bother with him.
It's boring,it's nauseating and showmances are the biggest BB turn offs for me now,no matter what housemates try to create and engage in same.

So as you have been,I too find showmances a no no to watch.
Highlights filled with 2 daft people,like Sarah and Chad, who should know and do better,chasing each other round a house filled with cameras,yet thinking they can find somewhere private, just are a total turn off of the highest order.

No I dislike Chad for Showmancing and being boring, and actually playing Musical Chairs with his Showmance partners when he went from Sarah, Amelia, Jemma, and Marissa on night 1, to Amelia for the next few days, to then it being Sarah for the rest of the series. But yes it doesn't help seeing hypocrisy from certain members who would normally strongly dislike someone like Chad, no it doesn't help at all.

There's not much difference between what Chad's brought to the series and what Shaun's brought to the series, there's only two reasons why Chad is even shown and that's his Showmance with Sarah, and the fact that women fancy him that watch the show, other than that you wouldn't even see the guy.

Paul was already sussed by both Karthik and Sarah at different points in the series before Chad.

Sam already had issues with Brandi to the point that he nominated her which was before Chad.

And I watched him for 12 to 13 days which is nearly half the series so I have an informed opinion of him so I can comment on him if I want to thank you very much. It's not up to you on who can and can't comment on a Housemate based on how much someone has watched of it.

And good for you on wanting Chad to win, it must show that the series is really at a low point if a Love Island contestant is your favourite.

He's honestly one of my favorite male housemates in recent memory. Idk he's just really genuine and likable? I expected him to be an arrogant asshole but he's actually the opposite. He's gentle and kind hearted. He's a bit goofy.
