Spain were the better team and deserved it. Great world cup and great journey though, really enjoyed it

Watched in my local pub and some of the sexism was awful unfortunately, people just using it as an excuse to drink at 11am making all sorts of lewd comments the whole game. Thankfully it's getting better overall though and it's great how many girls are playing football now from a young age, seen a big difference just in my lifetime

And this is why light hearted jokes will continue. Because you think women should have a special privilege that the men footballers shouldn't have.

Insults, criticism and jokes are part of the course of being a footballer. It's always happened to the men.

You shouldn't be expecting special treatment just for the women. Because that would be real sexism. And far more sexist than using a sterotype to make a joke.

Bronze was to blame for their goal yesterday as well but this time it came back to bite her .

She did a Sterling and ran straight into a blind alley of 3 Spanish women who dispossessed her ( our RB in the centre circle !) and then they broke away and scored .

Incidentally watch the overhead replays of their goal to see Bronze lose possession then have a tantrum then start to walk/jog back to goal !!!!

Every other English girl was sprinting like their lives depended on it but she just made a half hearted attempt to get back


Bewildering given her so-called class ( and experience)


No wonder she was inconsolable on the pitch after the game


Not forgetting that Nigeria outplayed us on the day and Lucie Bronze got away with murder after no penalty was decided after she forcibly shoved the girl to the floor in our penalty box.

Alex Scott was spotted walking through arrivals, then with fans saying she hinted the team would follow the crowd burst out into chants of 'Sweet Caroline'.

Sadly the team didn't come through the main arrivals hall - instead leaving by a private exit after touching down just after 6.30am and left the fans just standing there waiting
