This is why I'm scared of walking near high cliffs.
It's so dangerous.
I nearly fell once myself on one of those.

She's ran away to start a new life. Sne left her phone and the dog's harness as sleight-of-hands, gave her dog a steak to distract it, and jumped on her new boyfriend's boat as it went past.

The police said it was a long quilted Gillet…she had a jacket under that…black jeans, green socks and green ankle length wellies from Next (I’m sure they specified Next)…a lot of clothing. If she fell in the water I reckon she would have struggled immensely.

She had a complete change of clothes on, hidden and concealed by the Gillet, and a wig. When she jumped onto her new boyfriend's boat, so shed her coat and wore the wig, so she wouldn't resemble the circulating description.

To be fair there's being able to swim, and there's being an actual strong swimmer. A lot of people who can safely swim around the deep end of a swimming pool would be in trouble in a river with a current or the sea if there are waves, and that's without being fully clothed. Likewise many people who can tread water in their swimsuit would be in trouble with a pair of boots on - even in a swimming pool.

Plus cold water shock which could have resulted in a heart attack

Nicola Bulley riddle deepens as police admit they have found'no evidence'
missing mother slipped or fell into river despite it being their main theory -
as they investigate two new clues
  • Nicola Bulley's partner 'will not entertain' any outcome other than finding her
  • He has also cast doubt over police's 'lead theory' that Ms Bulley fell into river

Police investigating the mysterious disappearance of mother Nicola Bulley have
not found any evidence that she slipped or fell into the river, despite insisting it
is their primary theory.

Did she put her phone down on the bench herself to rush to her dog's aid?

I've seen people accusing the husband because he didn't look upset enough when being interviewed

People are so desperate for a mystery and a TV style plot line. Occam's Razor normally applies with things like this

Why didn’t these people come forward voluntarily at the very start of the enquiry !?

This woman is the third person who the police have had to circulate a description and a photo before they come forward !?!

::::

On Saturday, police released an image of a potential witness who was seen in the area at the time.
The force began a search to track down a woman seen wearing a yellow coat and pushing a pram, who was walking on Garstang Road and Blackpool Lane on 27 January.
Later that evening, the force wrote that it was "pleased to say that the woman came forward very quickly", stressing that she was "very much being treated as a witness".

Could be, because they did not notice anything

Police are going through CCTV slowly
from the Exit places.

To be fair, you don't always notice every little thing when out and about. Maybe the lady was in her own little world as she was walking along.
