Oh so 40 million people voted in a sky poll. I'm quite impressed by that, I didn't know Sky had the reach of 40 million to poll. Thanks for sharing that Arista.
The change.org poll now has 700k signatures. Note: these are actual figures and not made up.

If I had thumped a co-worker no matter what the circumstances, there would be no suspension just, "the sack". Why should Jeremy Clarkson be any different. Who he works for
or is friends with should make any difference. |

Remembering Kerry
|
Quote:
Imagine if you or I worked somewhere, then were out and in company outside of work with others and your bosses but we threatened to or actaully did hit the boss. What would happen. I dare bet we would be suspended and likely sacked, then even moreso likely to face at the least a police interview as to the incident and even possibly end up in court too. It would be at the very least felt that you or I and that boss could not work together and Clarkson knew it was one of his bosses/producers. Odd how people who drink and get violent who are not celebrities are called thugs and wastes of space but this vile loudmouth, can threaten violence and even commit it and just have it put down as being one of and acting like one of the 'lads'. Not for me, he is well overdue in being got rid of from TV anyway in my view, and for once I am actually quietly pleased, this time, he chose to explode at the wrong person. this incident happened at 10pm at night
But Jezzer has the full support of her majesty's government: Mr Cameron said yesterday: 'He's a huge talent. Because he is such a huge talent and he amuses and entertains so many people, including my children, who'd be heartbroken if Top Gear was taken off air, I hope this can be sorted out.' Asked if he enjoyed the show, Mr Clegg replied: 'I quite like it, yes. It makes me laugh.' and leading politician and man of the people Nigel Farage also gave his support 'I do enjoy Top Gear, it's very entertaining. Deliberately provocative and controversial and whenever I sit down and watch it I always laugh.' (source: dm today) Ed miliband is said to have been watching Call the Midwife. |

If it involves a producer of the show you're working on and is because of hospitality issues provided for by the show.........then yes

![]() I heard bookies are taking bets on replacements if he is sacked, Chris Evans is top of the list. I think that'd be an interesting turn of events. I used to love Chris Evans in the 90's. TFI Friday
