In order for BB11 to get a huge audience on the launch night, I think BB needs to step up it's advertising.

There used to be billboards across the country, adverts on TV, radio adverts, etc.

Now all we get is the eye forming and saying "...days to go" which lasts approx 5-10 seconds.

I think they should bring back all of the above, and for the billboards they should have close up shots of some of the housemates features (an eye of one, lips of another, etc) to form a face with the saying "Big Brother is coming... do you know one of the housemates?"

Having an enigma like that will make people tune in to see if they know one of the housemates when they're revealed on Launch Night.

Very good idea. I missed the house ad that did not feature in BB10 as it for me indicates the show is close to launch and it adds to the excitement and anticipation of what is going to happen in this series.

I would have a massive billboard campaign "BB is back and he means business"

They should have an X Factor style trailer with Marcus Bentley's voice saying...

In all honesty, has anyone ever seen a BB ad on a bill-board or bus, especially the 90% of us who live outside of London?

I don't hold out much hope advertising wise as even the latest ad, though eye catching, is basically the same we've seen for years - an animation of the eye.

Yep, especially during BB7. The Carphone Warehouse in Manchester City Centre also used to have the BB eye in the window

I don't think they'll ever top the BB7 campaign, although I guess most of that was due to the golden ticket twist.
