...yeah it definitely is...and the winter months are worse because the playground gets a bit chilly, so the gossiping can sometimes come into the entrance/corridor and within earshot...so we have to physically throw parents out or ask their children to restrain them...

We're not allowed in the playground any more (the covids etc) but it actually makes things even worse. Now there are just little clumps of parents lining the whole street leading up to the school. Yuck!

Just two, younger kids are 8.45am - 2.45pm and then the older yeargroups are the usual 9am - 3pm. Not an issue for me as the kids are at different schools and the youngest gets school transport... but a nightmare for a friend of ours who has a 5 year old and a 10 year old. She has to hang about for 15 - 20 mins at both drop off and pick up .
