I've always thought I have ADD as I can be so inattentive with certain things.

I've had few days off work and I just don't know what to do with myself. I like the routine and busyness of work (even though I also get bored at work).

I workout, go the gym, but that still leaves me all day.

Then cuz I'm so bored I'll have like a 3 hour sleep which isn't healthy.

You need to do some voluntarily work

I actually do precisely that interestingly enough and it is tremendously rewarding

i still get bored easily though

It might be worth trying a new hobby, maybe knitting, doing puzzles, paint by numbers?

Although not 'voluntary' work in the sense, I already do that.

Yeah I've always struggled with hobbies as not much interests me to be completely honest

Yeah quite often and then my solution is to pop to the shops, go to a cafe, go to a pub etc. but that's not good from a spending point of view

There's always things you could be doing though, a lot of the time it's just requiring the discipline to stick with them rather than going back to doom scrolling or watching television. I'm trying to get better at that atm

Wow .. I am soooooo envious !!

I don’t even relax on beach holidays .. I go snorkelling, wandering or shopping whilst my better half suns herself by the sea ..

…have you just recently got back from travelling, Thomas…?…that could leave you feeling a bit restless in getting into a routine again…and some people thrive on routine and can feel a bit vacant without it…

Came back in December last year.

Yeah I do like routine

I just bored no matter where I go. Suppose I do like busyness. I'm often looking for the next thing to do.

I don't put labels on myself but I do get bored with people and things that don't get straight to the point.

I basically switch off and say NEXT!

I am not bored of this series because I record it and skip all the ads and the boring talk.

Each show lasts around 35 minutes!!

Yeah and some people are so narcissistic it's all about them and don't care what you've got to say anyway. It's basic turn taking, social interaction.
