Mainly right now it's that Ali is an omnipotent goddess that is incapable of any wrong doing or any self serving act because she is, y'know, a psychologist. And a woman.

I can’t stand this negative connotation that in order to be a strong woman you must effectively be mean, judgemental, blunt and rude.

She’s not a strong woman because a strong, confident woman would not tear others down in front of an audience in a vulnerable moment when they were all sat there feeling sorry for themselves that they weren’t part of the party.

It’s prime manipulation. As a psychologist she has the ability to break down why a person might behave the way they do and analyse it. Instead she has created this narrative about him to the other housemates. She knows what she’s doing.

I know many strong woman who do not possess the traits she does. She and others are feeding into that negative perception of strong women.

Yeah, I saw this, but it seemed like the exception not the rule. The sub is very pro Ali overall.

Reddit is very left leaning and full of self proclaimed 'virtuous progressives' and I would say is mostly female in a sub like BBUK. Ofc, go to a gaming sub and that changes, but even then it remains on the left of things generally.

Most mods are female (I think that's true across most platforms though).

I quite like the BB reddit and there is a mix of views. In the top two posts for the last 24 hours one is pro-Ali and one is anti so opinion is quite divided although there's probably more pro-Ali sentiment

The trouble with Reddit is that it's basically a popularity contest and there's not much point posting if you have an opposing view to the majority because it will just get buried. It's why I like this place because every post carries equal weight

The strongwoman label has almost no meaning to me personally in my life as I have always seen it is a modern day honorific for being granted cultural sainthood. (I revolt!) You can tell because of the implication that there will be heavy burdens on those who bear such heavy titles. And it lends a bit more credence to possibility some have put forward that Ali is playing the game in a misandric way very intentionally... after all men can't be saints, so Khaled presents a contradiction...

I am not yet sold she is targetting men specifically but it certainly seems a bit convenient. I think it's more likely Khaled is an easy target atm, especially seeing as he has immunity and has clearly been opaque enough that he becomes a convenient subtrate in which to afix much of her psychobabble upon making it convenient for manipulating events and relationships in the house.

It's like she expects people to open up enough in front of her as a rule so that exercises and her "expertise" appears more valid. (and welcome) Should they not do this conveniently, she may apply arbitrary logic to their behavior on a whim. I think she has major control tendencies that are slowly being unearthed.
