I think it is very relevant actually, seeing as the tape recordings were used as a shock factor tactic against trump and his office.My point is, If this was just a taped recording of crying kids in a nursery or kids being dropped of at their first day at school if you wern't told what it was you might be horrified to hear the screams and anguish in the childs cries...If you were however told what the recording was of, then i think most people would just say,, aww bless..or something...

Who in their right minds would think the kids deserved it. The parents however do have some responsibility. Entering the country without documentation is illegal and that is well known. Any consequences of doing so have to be thought about and responsibility taken for such decisions.

Whatever the situation people have to follow the rules. If they are under threat they need to apply for asylum. People do have sympathy but people have been crossing the border illegally for years with no regard for doing so via the proper means, many of whom are criminals. No-one is entitled to enter another country illegally for economic reasons.

This is an excellent example of rationalisation.

If you took a recording of the average nursery and all the children were distressed and their carers were laughing at them and comparing their wails to an orchestra that they'd want to conduct then that would be abuse.

Not only are you rationalising this abuse of human rights but you're trying to normalise child abuse.
