on paper france is world champion


but Croatia are the real champions, this is still like the best result ever for them

Its been great, probably because there was so little hype about going to Russia and it was generally not seen as a great choice of host, proved very wrong, and England doing well and the feel good factor that generated, I doubt Brazil or Argentina fans will be pointing at this as a great WC

England are not a top 4 in the world side. They are probably a top 16 side, but that's about it.

No i wouldn't. Even Gareth stated that England were not a top 6 side, so how can anyone in all seriousness think they are top 4
