Is he not entitled to his outdated views in just the same way you would likely say minorities are in their attitudes towards many things including their views towards women.

You can’t reasonably tolerate some views based on one religion, unless you’re simply scared of being labelled, but not do so for others based on their religion because you would be less likely to get labelled.
