If I remember right, they totally changed the established "rules" of how the girls magic worked like 4 episodes from the end, to fit the plot. Major nono for me . Establish what is and isn't possible in your fictional world early - can be whatever the **** you want - but establish it and stick with it. Sci-fi / fantasy doesn't mean no rulz.
