You think their husbands won't let them out if their faces are uncovered?

I think it makes sense to have some rules around schools, banks etc.. but forcing people to never wear it is ridiculous, some females in strict families won't be allowed to go outside, for example.

The way I see it, is that youre trading in a bit of freedom of expression and women rights for the sake of a sense of security

Some people think its worth it, some dont, most can see it from both sides

For me, its not enough security to warrant losing that much women rights and freedom of expression, but others disagree and I wint fight that, I see their point.

the point of the face covering is so no other man can lay eyes on her...so yes it is possible that could happen

Well quite. I can't imagine its going to go the way some seem to think it will

'Oh, the oppressive garment I force you to wear is banned? Go free my love!'

Of course ontop of this theres the security issue BUT I have seen so many people defending this by saying that the men oppress women by making them wear them and the women have more freedom by being told they cannot wear them :S

Can men in balaclavas walk the street in groups?
Just wondering how we would feel about that.
