There's a slight difference between a racism and bullying scandal that made international news, and a false accusation of violence that soap stars are talking about on Twitter
The reason CBB5 damaged the brand is because Channel 4 handled it so badly. They suppressed footage, didn't intervene early enough, and were eventually forced to broadcast an apology by Ofcom. Somehow I don't see that happening this time. They intervened, they've exposed Roxanne and cleverly allowed her keep digging, and not (that we know of) suppressed any footage.
