She was justified in her actions tbh. Like, I understand why she was angry and from what I've read, the ref wasnt being fair.
This + her not being allowed to wear that outfit for medical reasons smells like institutional bias to me |

Barely a meltdown she's just very passionate didn't seem at all out of control. Serena has lost before so this "oh she's just a bad loser" angle just isn't gonna stick with me.

Totally agree Serena has had to put up with so much **** from them as well as from the media. They are desperate to find some way of discrediting her.

All hail the Moyesiah
|
She's just a background figure in a cartoon though, he's not trying to do an accurate portrait and how she's drawn doesn't really affect the joke

Perhaps Williams, who will be aware of the black stereotype of the angry aggressive black woman, had thought about her behavoir (angry and aggressive) when she is a privileged black role model to children then she would not have behaved in such a horrible way? The story is about her vile tantrum and bad sportsmanship nothing else.

Are you saying that black women shouldnt be alound to be passionat or angry about something because of the stereotype. Why can white men get heated and break their rackets without it reflecting badly on the entire group? Athleats getting angry during a game is nothing new, its unfair that serena is being portayed as a monster for losing her rag.
