When he was berating Akeem for taking his coins but failed to say he had taken more of Akeem's for himself, now that isn't being upfront to people's faces.

He wasnt berating for taking them, he was berating for not saying how many, and Akeem didnt ask him, I like Akeem so no issue with him at all

Yes, exactly. How can he get in such a strop about Akeem taking his coins, when he took Akeem's? It's one rule for him, and another rule for others.

And when he didn't volunteer information about whose coins he moved, what right does he have to demand that information from others? Maybe it's his intimidating behaviour that makes other housemates reluctant to be open and honest with him.

Isaac does have a nice side, but his aggression, his sulking and his tantrums does him no favours.

Akeem might not be the most interesting housemate, and being the one with the most coins might have made him feel he should take charge, but he really has done nothing so wrong to be treated so unpleasantly by those who have taken a dislike to him. I think they see him as a threat
