However, even though his family know and are supportive, he is clearly very anxious about other people in his life and their potential reaction. I would imagine everyone who comes out faces dilemmas and challenges which make them fearful about revealing who they are. I think it probably is a big deal to Cameron even though, compared to your situation, it seems relatively easy.

I hope that you have someone you can confide in and who is able to support you when things feel tough. I also hope you are able to find some peace with your decisions and situation.
