Yes I do, we can help ourselves along as best we can, but if you have been dealt a crap hand, its still not brilliant, and the opposite is also true.
Too many times now a sequence of events has led me to a point I would never have dreamt of getting to. |

Fate implies that you're following a predestined path though or outcome, not being in control of certain things in life doesn't equal a predestined path it just means that you weren't in control of a particular event at a particular time.
And also, what would be the point in having a predestained path anyway, like who or what is in control of it and if someone or something is in control of peoples paths why do some people end up with horrific lives or causing horrific pain on others (serial killers etc) Is whoever arranging these paths some sort of sadist?
