There was no one blubbing (except for one woman who stood out like a sore thumb) at Churchill's funeral. In those days the British did not do such things. The journalist Peter Hitchens wrote about the change in the British character that had taken place over those decades by contrasting those two funerals.

Wasn't that in the 60s. Nearly 60 years ago, things have moved on you know.

Moved on to what? Something better? No.

Cant resist it eh, perhaps I can see to a certain extent what you are trying to say but a lot of people had learnt to keep their stiff upper lip. Many had been through so much. Some in this day and age weep behind the curtains so to speak, it is in a lot of cases, because they do not want to bring another person down.

On the other hand there are those who are cold and calculating, they are void of empathy and only concerned with themselves. Not directing this at anyone am just generalising.

I like to feel that a man can show his emotions (mmm not Cian, to yuck) but once again many do it behind closed doors.

Where have all the flowers gone, long time passing...a time of regret, horror and misplaced loyalties, they went to war every one. People are sad so and sos, the planet belongs to all. Will we ever learn?

Not really if we are in a forum falling out over our favourites...Lewis should still be there but now...

Cameron to win....
