Triumph of the Weird
|
hmmm. I've never tried this. I have a hard time with socks in bed anyway because of restless leg, but I do like the feeling of warm socks. Sometimes I put them on anyway even if I have to pull them off halfway through the night. #stubborn

"Oh the sock thing only works if you also get fluids, vitamins, electrolytes and rest... but it's def the socks that do most of it."

It's more interesting to hear other people's remedies when bringing something like this. I can see where people come up with the idea. Usually when I get sick, the first place I will ache is in the feet. Perhaps it's related to dehydration, as that is a major cause of aches. And this would maybe help that. We usually wake up the most dehydrated in the morning, so we'll feel the worst. |

Tea is my go-to And hot baths with epsom salts. Especially piping hot... I will reheat it in microwave in a very thick glass cup sometimes and breath in the moisture just to loosen sinuses. It acts sort of like a decongestant.

Obviously cold and wet feet wont fix a bodily virus
If its worked for anybody, they’ve experienced a placebo effect.

Oh this is for the flu, not the cold.
I'd rather have the flu over doing this anyway though, it would just feel awful I hate when my socks are wet at all. Don't challenge me on that though, God
