I just remembered, apparently Courteney and Jennifer almost played each other's characters instead. I can't find where they said this exactly (I've only seen this from second-hand sources) but I can only think of how great it'd have been to see Jennifer and Matthew together (although I can't dissociate Aniston from Rachel. It'd have been so weird to see Aniston, who plays initially plays the self-absorbed daddy's little girl, play the motherly mature friend, Monica)
