You went through hell? That's a tad dramatic no?

A few people doubting who you are is nothing compared to what members on here have actually been put through at the hands of trolls, multis and complete internet saddos so yeah you might find it funny to post comments like this but others don't.
funny? I wasn't being funny. It was very unpleasant, something I never come across on any other forum I've been a member of.

A bit biased of an admin to see only one side of the coin though.
Clearly you think nothing of questioning integrity of genuinely new members.
Take your site to the dark web if you don't want to be found and joined by new people then. Ridiculously inward-looking thinking, imo.
By all means do your checks but don't post about them in advance, just because someone knows some slang words which were NOT invented on this forum.

Livia and co with the digs. Then when that died down, Josy decided to investigate. Bc one mod thought I reminded them of a long-banned member and also Josy couldn't believe that after 4-5 months I had the right to be friends with Ammi.
After furious pm-ing and asking Ammi to confirm the newness of our friendship, Josy retreated and promised to vouch for me being new.
Not hell, just needless and annoying as there was never any substance in it.

Nothing biased at all about my post, your comment above reads as if to be mocking anyone that is suspicious of questionable new members...

I mentioned nothing at all about the questioning of genuine new members nor not welcoming new signs ups, but it's our job to do what we can to insure the safety of our members and weeding out multis is part of that.

I found your post to be in complete disregard of members that have been affected in the past by issues caused by multi accounts, if you found it to be unpleasant then spare a thought for the members that where put through far worse, completely disregarding that at the same time as reminding the forum that your were once accused of being a multi is what I would describe as being biased tbqh.

Suspicions have to have some reasonable basis.
Knowing slang is not reasonable basis for suspicions, for crying out loud.
I honestly thought the idea of the slang used on chat being actually invented here was just funny joke But apparently not

Re. my being disregarding of members who suffered bc of multis and trolls and you name it, how the hell am I supposed to know the depth of their suffering if it is a closely guarded secret? And forum carefully scrubbed of any signs of controversy? I'd started asking but soon stopped when I realized my knowledge may work against me (he knows too much he can't be a new member).

I posted about me bc I can see the same thing happening to the new members. Best if they're forewarned.

With all respect, we know what signs to look for in multiple accounts and due to previous experience slang words are a big give away as they were a big part of certain dramas a while back etc

And no it's not a secret, I'm sure if anyone affected by trolls wanted to share their experiences with you then they would, my point was, you were already aware that members have had issues with multis in the past as iirc I personally told you that's what makes some members suspicious, hence my point about disregarding other members experiences but making sure you let everyone know about your own.

Josy, the slang is not enough. It is used outside of the forum, that's why you need more, imo.
I don't try for self-publicity, but don't want new members being under suspicion for no good reason either. So it's best they know they may be questioned like I was.
You're all old lags, nobody's on the side of newbies.

No one said anyone is getting banned as a multi due to slang

And new members being questioned shouldn't be your concern.
